A Woman Like You is Song of the Week

Last night, outta the blue
Driftin’ off to the evening news
You said “Honey, what would you do
If you’d never met me”
I just laughed, said “I don’t know,
But I could take a couple guesses though”
And then tried to dig real deep,
Said, “Darling honestly…

I’d do a lot more offshore fishin’
I’d probably eat more drive-thru chicken
Take a few strokes off my golf game
If I’d have never known your name
I’d still be driving that old green ‘Nova
I probably never would have heard of yoga
Be a better football fan
But if I was a single man
Alone and out there on the loose
Well I’d be looking for a woman like you.”

The Only Thing

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday.

The Only thing that matters, is what you can do.

Today is Wednesday 11/30/V3.2 & it is hump day. I didn’t have any bacon today; if you read Vernon-J.com daily, you would know what that reference. Well I haven’t had bacon yet today.

I officially get to go get my car today, so here’s too that. That reminds me I need to download an app.

It shall be another long day today, but I won’t be out in the field. In the office scheduling appointments for tomorrow. Yesterday was a good training session with Jamie, I think I learned a lot. She is really good at doing what we need to do, I’m excited to get out there & see what I can do.

The word of the day is churlish which is Boorish or rude. DON’T BE CHURLISH.

Have a GREAT day & don’t worry about the risks.

Quotes from the World for Tuesday 11/29/MMXI

We should treat our minds, that is, ourselves, as innocent and ingenuous children, whose guardians we are, and be careful what objects and what subjects we thrust on their attention.

Henry David Thoreau
Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862), U.S. philosopher, author, naturalist. “Life Without Principle” (1863), in The Writings of Henry David Thoreau, vol. 4, p. 475, Houghton Mifflin (1906).

Its all the same? How do you treat it?

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday.

Visit Phrase of the Week for an explanation. I’m typing this at 08.01 & NOT ready to film it yet. So when this post goes live, it won’t be uploaded.

Today is Tuesday 11/29/V3.2 & it is a Happy Ever After day.

I’m having a breakfast consisting of oatmeal (Thanks Julie), bacon, yogurt, & juice. Breakfast is awesome.

I’m pretty sure that my new car should be in today, but that doesn’t mean I’ll get to pick it up. I know that we have appointments until about 18.45 or so. I do have to go & pick up a new laptop, the netbook doesn’t have the power to do what I need it to do. I also need to go pick up a laptop bag, to carry said laptop.  I like the one I had when I was at Food Bank for the Heartland, so that’ll be the one I get.

Also at 19.00 there is a University of Nebraska Omaha Athletics competition. The Men’s Basketball team takes on the Washburn Ichabods. LET’S GO MAVS! You can get your tickets by calling 402-554-MAVS, it is the hottest ticket in towne. The sooner you call, the better chance you have of getting one.

The word of the day is serry, which is to crowd closely together. Kinda like cuddling.

btw if you were going to send me flowers, you can send them to 2809 S. 160th St. Omaha, NE 68130.

Have a Terrific Day & MAKE IT HAPPEN!

That’s how we do it.

Good Evening & Happy Monday.

We did it & that’s how we do it.

Today is Monday 11/28/V3.2 & it was a long day. I left home about 08.20 or so, got back about 21.40 or later. It was only 13.20 hours, but it started later.

Today is Monday 11/28/V3.2.

I will try to get this up earlier than post prime-time tomorrow. I won’t you to read this at breakfast, or mid-morning, or lunch.  That way if it is one of those ‘thinking entries’ you can think about it & get back to me.

I’ve had to get my 2nd phone since Saturday 11/19/V3.2, the last one I got wasn’t calibrated & the charging socket was ALL jacked up.  A good song by Gretchen Wilson.

I’m not sure if I should have some Ice Cream & Cake as it is quite late, & the sleepy time will be here within 2 hours. Something about the digestive process & healthy eating. I’m eating dinner RIGHT now.

Let me know what you think.

The word of the day is panegyrize which is to eulogize; deliver or write a panegyric about.
