Quotes from the World for Sunday 10/23/MMXI

I hadn’t an illusion in my handbag
About the people being better there
Than those I left behind. I thought they weren’t.
I thought they couldn’t be. And yet they were.

Robert Frost
Robert Frost (1874–1963), U.S. poet. “New Hampshire.”

Good Morning & Happy Sunday.

You are reading The World’s* best [dot] com.

Today is Sunday 10/23/V3.2 & what kinda day are you going to make it?

As mentioned early in the day, Saturday was a good day, personally & other.  I work part-time at University of Nebraska Omaha in the Athletics Department.  I’m sure you know this, right?  Well there was a proposal yesterday, I’ve been involved in 2 or 3 over the years.  But this time I got nervous when I was about to hand the financee the microphone. I wish them the best of luck.

So on today’s agenda, I need to order new business cards, the old one has an incomplete e-mail address.  I’ve had Vernon-J.com since March & shut-down my cox.net address in September.  I think 6 months of receiving e-mails from only Vernon-J@Vernon-J.com is a clue enough that I’ve changed addresses.  The phone number is the same, so is the address.

I also have to go to the store, I need dinner & milk for sure. Do you need anything?

The word of the day is ferly which is something unusual, strange, or causing wonder or terror.

I hope you have a GREAT Week.

No & Success

The dream I mentioned early(What you don’t read my blog every day?) didn’t come true yesterday [Saturday 10/22/V3.2]. That’s okay, I appear to be fine.

So yesterday(Friday 10/21/V3.2) I got texts from a friend, alerting me to the task she had done.  She informed me that she would be doing this task. So I wasn’t totally shocked about this .

Recently(ie between 08/01/V3.2 & Friday 09/30/V3.2) I did a same thing to my friend(s)/buddies James & Kelly.  So as they say, do on to others as you want to be done onto.  So I did my part of the thing & at the current time we can report a successful venture.

Happy Sunday Kids.
