I happen to be near Jefferson Elementary & noticed they have trailers sitting outside the school. This is UNACCEPTABLE to me a a ‘tax payer participant’ in this city.

The Mission of the Omaha Public Schools is to provide education opportunities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. In additional Educational Aim #2 is A safe and secure learning environment is an essential component in enabling students to achieve their highest potential.

The current levy is $1.21364.

If you need to raise the tax levy to provide for the Mission & Education Aims of OPS.

Vernon J is okay with that. Our future has a price, but don’t cheat them.
