Lubiprostone

Lubiprostone (rINN, marketed under the trade name Amitiza) is a medication used in the management of idiopathic chronic constipation. It was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for this purpose on 31 January 2006. This medicine makes you go shit, if you can’t figure that out, becasue really no one can. 

Side Effects: Causes DiareahhhaThe most common side effects were nausea, diarrhea, and headache. If nausea occurs, take AMITIZA with food. If your diarrhea or nausea becomes severe, tell your doctor. These are not all the side effects associated with AMITIZA.

Diarrhea – NO SHIT, that is what it is supposed to solve.  How in the world can that be a side effect.
